I miss everything...

The past 2 months have turned my little 35 month old life upside down.

I left my school, my country, my house, my nanny and my friends and family behind.

I am now staying with Mommy and Jakob at Granny and Grandpa's house in Mellieha, Malta until we move to Tunis on 27 January. Granny and Grandpa are going out of their way to help us.

I go to  a new playschool with the Nuns but I am very confused. This morning I said "I don't want to go to the nuns. I want to go to work. I want to see the Ladies. I want to get on the aeroplane and go home, Mommy. I miss Tasha".

I miss my Daddy and everything that I know. I am still the sweetest boy but I'm struggling t the moment.

The Big Stone

The Big Stone

Once upon a time, there was a big Stone. Inside the Stone there lived two kids, a boy and a girl. The name of the boy was Elijah and the name of the girl was Anika.

Whenever the 2 kids wanted to go and buy sweets, chocolates or peanuts they would sing to the stone.

“My Stone, my Stone,
Open up, Open up (with small voices)”

And suddenly the Stone would open up into two and the kids would jump out to go shopping. The Stone would close and on their return they would sing to the stone again.

One day a big lion was watching them as they did their routine and it listened to their song. Once the kids where inside the Stone, the lion sang to the stone in a big voice,

“My Stone, my Stone,
Open up, Open up”

The Stone opened up, the Lion went inside and said to the kids, “I am going to eat you today!” The children took forks and spoons and chased the Lion away. They said to the Stone, “Do not open for the Lion ever again. Do you hear me?” The Stone said, “Yes, sorry Eli and Anika. I wont do it again.”

The End

A short story, as told by Natasha Dlamini, Elijah's Swazi Nanny

I love music and stories and insist on being one of the characters in the stories. I am completely potty trained. Food is not a priority in my life.

I am a happy little boy. I love to laugh.
