Tonight I put Eli to bed. Jakob was struggling to fall asleep and kept waking up so I had to hold him. Therefore I could not read a story to a very tired Eli. After drinking his milk he made a moaning sound and I asked what was wrong. He said, "Soentjie" wanting a good night kiss. I said, "I love you, Baby" and he said, "I love you, Mommy" for the first time.

Elijah speaks so well now. He can say the whole alphabet, count to 20, knows the day of the week and the months of the year.  He loves music and knows many songs.  He is also an expert on the iPad.

He says cute things all the time like calling a butterfly a "blutterfly" or  flying in an ailoplane.

He loves his baby brother Jakob and often holds his hand, or lies right on top of him to give him a hug. One of his favourite things to do is to "taste" Jakob's dummy. Eli still loves his dummy.

So much has happened since...

We made these bunny ears at school.

So much has happened in the past 2 months. I am 26 months old. I weigh 13.10kg and my height is 86cm.

I started at Nanny Poppins playschool a month before my baby brother was born. I go there 3 mornings a week. My teacher's name is Vanessa MacDonald. She describes me as a very busy boy.

My baby brother, Jakob, was born on 15 March 2012. I know his name and I like to give him kisses while everyone warns me to be "genkle" I get very jealous when other people pick Jakob up and also when Daddy gives Jakob attention. I somehow understand that Jakob needs Mommy.

Sleeping in my own bed, in my own room, Mommy or Daddy read me a story at night and I have learned to go to bed on my own. I talk all the time now making proper sentences. I am so cute and I keep Mommy and Daddy very busy.

2011 December Playgroup Photo Shoot

At the end of 2011 we had such pictures taken by a photographer at The Wendy House, Eli's playgroup. The photographer just followed him around while he was playing.

I am now 22 months old. I weigh 12.56 kg and I am 84,5cm in length. My hair is getting long and curly and I am starting to make short sentences. I can count to 10 and I know so many words in English and Afrikaans.

Playschool has ended for the year, I have had lots of fun and met lots of friends.

Oliver and I very often HAVE TO play with  the same thing at the same time.

I am exploring everything. These are mom's Skype headphones. I love Skype. When I hear the ring tone I run towards the computer and call out "Michool" cause I think I am going to be talking to my Uncle Mike in New Zealand.

My routine involves watching TV before bed. My regular shows are The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, The Hive, I Can Cook and The Teletubbies. I call Dipsy "Dipies".

This Past October 2011

Kevin is 2 months younger than I am but MUCH bigger.

Kevin's mom has a shop down stairs and he came to visit. We played and Natasha gave us Rice Krispies.

This is my 21st Month! I weigh 11.2kg and 82.4cm tall. I can say so many words now. I repeat everything I hear. Mommy and Daddy think my pronunciation is good but that is just because they understand me. I say "banoha" for "balonne"(baloons) and "tokowoow" for "krokodil"(crocodile)

 During our playgroup holidays Mommy and Lara took Oliver and myself to Zoo Lake to look at the ducks and play.

 I like to slide down HEAD FIRST.
