Settling in!

After a nice long holiday in Malta Mommy has decided not to send me back to my school. I was very happy to announce to them when Mommy went to see them that "I am not coming here again. I am not coming here anymore". (I personally feel that they made no effort to teach him. After all that time he did not learn one word of Arabic or French from them. I taught him to count in French up to 5 in one day. He also greets the taxi drivers in French when he gets in or exits the taxi. The ability is there, it was just their lack of effort that was lacking.)

I am going to a new school. It is a Montssori school in Hammam Lif from October.http://www.montessori.tn/index.php/main/index

I have made a new friend called James. James is South African and he lives in Tunis. His Daddy works for the South African Embassy in Tunis and Mommy and his mommy love to talk all the time. (Meeting Annalize has been my saving grace. It is so "lekker" to have someone to speak to in Afrikaans. They are a great family and I am so pleased that we have met them)

Jakob and I play together nicely. We have our moments but in general we like to laugh together, be tickled and have Mommy read us stories. I get to watch Tom and Jerry while I eat my meals.

I love gorillas, robots, lizards and most other animals.

I dont like it when other kids get into trouble and when Daddy shouted at Jakob I said "Dont shout at my baby brother."

At night we all sleep together in room on 2 double bed matresses. I am still not the biggest eater but I love pizza and will eat it any time of the day. We go to Mister Panino, our local pizzaria owned by an Italian lady, at least once a week where I get to share watered down Coke with Mommy.

Mommy does not have a car and I often walk while Jakob is in the pram. Sometimes we walk very far. I always have to wear a hat when I go out.

When Daddy wants me to go to bed and I am working on my iPad I say, "No thank you Daddy, I am still busy"

During Ramadan we started going for walks in the evenings along the beach front.

We stop at this coffee shop in the Centre Ville and Mommy buys us Parrot juice while they have coffee

I love animals. I am an animal rescuer! I am also very interested in what is eaten by who. My friend Zacharia was circumsized and his family celebrated it with the slaughter of a sheep. I loved thie sheep and named him, Claude. I spent the whole day with him, feeding him, stroking him, leaning against him, kissing him, it goes on... That evening he had to "go back to the farm" to be with his family.

"What do crocodiles eat?"
"They eat meat"
"No they don't. They eat broccoli"
"No little boys eat broccoli"
With a giggle
"No Silly, that wil make me 'veree' sick"

Another time:

"Cocodiles eat custard"
"No they don't"
"They do, they eat crocodile custard"

I love going to "my" souk to "buy things for me". I still don't love school and I told Daddy I don't like it because the nuns don't talk to me. I don't always listen and I am pushing boundaries. I dont like getting into trouble and when I do I think up punishments for Mom and Dad.

"Daddy, I will call a shark to eat you"
"Mommy, I will stick you on the wall with some stingray tape"

We have been to the Tunis-zoo and the beach in Bou Cedria. I love the beach and lie in the sand.

During summer we often take bathes during the day just to cool down.

My memory amazes my parents. I still remember my nanny, Natasha, and my teacher, Vanessa. I say things that amaze Mommy and Daddy as to how I remember it.
